New York Islanders

Im glad to present the first team of my originalizing project. For the Islanders logo, i used a simple anchor. On the dark jersey i spelled "NEW YORK" going down the center. But not on the light jersey. I used the same color and elements from the current jerseys. The should patch with the blue white and orange lines are similar to the pattern on the sleeves and shoulders. I was really repetitive with the lines to make it look even more retro.

New Jersey Devils Rebrand

The Devils are not much for change. By this, I mean the logo has not change at all since they first became a team (Besides colors). The jerseys have changed colors ONCE, that's it. Nothing much to brag about. The team has never had a 3rd jersey, I changed that. The logo I used didn't change. Though it hasn't changed, it has a reason. Its creative and sharp. The jerseys aren't anything special either, I kept them classic but added some stripes going for a modern look. I also added a black 3rd jersey the team has never seen before (black or 3rd). I wasn't going to add a 3rd, but I didn't want to disappoint.

New York Islanders Rebrand

We are speeding through the rebrands! Here are the Islanders. For a while, I never thought much of the team's logo. Then I heard somewhere, the "I" points to the rink (Almost exact). That's pretty cool. Knowing that I couldn't do much better, I kept the logos. I did, however, change the jerseys. Not too much, but a little more modern. The 3rd is a classic look, but nothing they have had. I didn't want to use and orange because I like to have the Flyers with the only orange jersey if possible.

New York Rangers Rebrand

Everyone knows the Rangers are a classic team, just like the Canadians, Blackhawks, Red Wings, etc. Many people think these teams shouldn't be changed. What's the fun in that? When the Rangers got their first third jersey with the new modern look, things were great. They changed them to their home and away jerseys, great. When Reebok took over they went old school on us again, I don't like it. To me "RANGERS" is boring, so I tried to change that with my rebrand. I used the team's modern logos and made new jerseys, a classic jersey with new logos. On the 3rd jersey I used the old light blue and the other logo.
