New York Rangers

Here is one of the most original teams in the NHL, right now. The rangers are a very recognizable team. When you see the colors, the name, the jerseys, even the numbers you know it the Rangers. I tried to use that legacy with the original jerseys. I used a version of the shield with a American flag pattern and "NYR" across the top.The jerseys are simple and similar to what they are currently wearing. (before the Flyers knocked them out of the play-offs anyway;)) Both shoulders have one star and the sleeve stripes have stars wrapping around in the opposite color.

New York Rangers Rebrand

Everyone knows the Rangers are a classic team, just like the Canadians, Blackhawks, Red Wings, etc. Many people think these teams shouldn't be changed. What's the fun in that? When the Rangers got their first third jersey with the new modern look, things were great. They changed them to their home and away jerseys, great. When Reebok took over they went old school on us again, I don't like it. To me "RANGERS" is boring, so I tried to change that with my rebrand. I used the team's modern logos and made new jerseys, a classic jersey with new logos. On the 3rd jersey I used the old light blue and the other logo.
